Passion for Travel
When her 2nd grade class studied Japan, Thailand and Peru, Donna began her lifelong fascination with travel and international cultures. After traveling frequently with her family as a teenager, Donna attended university, where she studied outdoor and environmental education. In 1984, Donna combined her two greatest passions: nature and travel, and began working in the travel industry, where she has grown and evolved for the last 35+ years. Throughout her son’s growing up years, Donna and her family have shared many travel adventures, like hot air ballooning in Turkey and white water rafting in Utah. These experiences fuel Donna’s desire to help other people make the same incredible family memories, all over the world.

Enthusiasm for Discovery
Donna loves to cook and to recreate dishes from the countries she visits. Cooking evokes her memories of each specific trip. Walnut soup will always remind her of her first trip to Tasmania, and she’ll never forget eating traditional dishes in the lofty tree canopies of Thailand. After visiting every continent except Antarctica, Donna’s deepest love is Africa. She has hiked the world’s biggest sand dunes in Namibia and always feels a thrill of reverence in the presence of Africa’s incredible wildlife. Donna still remembers the elation and glamor of her first trip on an airplane, and she imparts that same enthusiasm to each client as she helps plan their adventures.

adventurous
An Adventurer at Heart
Donna has snowmobiled in Iceland, snorkeled in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, taken helicopter rides over Bora Bora, sipped hot cocoa overlooking the Matterhorn in Switzerland, and walked with the blue-footed Boobies in the Galapagos Islands. She also revels in the simple joy of experiencing any new place. “You could send me to any city in the world, and I would find something unexpected and exciting to do. There’s something to discover everywhere you go.”
